*confusion over categories*

Is this still life? Oh well, I'll find out if I get busted for it.

Either way. This was done for a project of mine (probably one of the two best parts of the project). Not compulsory, but when I started doing it it was so fun I got carried away.

Rough outline sketched and scanned into computer, then edited with Paint.NET (*insert shameless advertisement* It's free, and although not exactly up there with Photoshop [which is at the same time harder to use, in my opinion, but it's really a matter of the user], it's a good alternative).

And please do ignore the fact that there's no table. I didn't want to do the tablecloth. And there were originally thorns on the rose, except they got cut off (in both cases) and it was done so well the stalk became smooth.
